Shows happened this week.

Here are some (questionably lit) photos from the shows this week. First one was at the Mt. Tabor Legacy Theatre with the Great Mundane and the Hives Inquiry Squad. Second was at the Full Life Coffee House with Your Yellow Dress and Existential Hero.

Both shows were great fun.  All performers were wonderful, and I fully encourage everyone to google them and track down their work.  All good and great.

Hope YOU are having a wonderful weekend.

Silly photos.

Just some photos.  The last one is a painting by Harry, entitled 'the Mask.'  It's his favorite that he has done so far.

Watercolor painting class.

Today was our first day of summertime watercolor class at Full Life.  I took five clients to the gardens of The Movement Center and they did two paintings each. Here are some photos of their work. Fun stuff.

Todays drawings.

I bought a sketchbook for a buck at the Dollar Tree today. Here are some snap shots of some drawings I did throughout the day. Pencil and eraser on cheap paper.

New prints

I have a sort-of second job as a letterpress printer at the Zhu Lin Press, running out of the Bamboo Grove Salon in SE Portland.

These are a few prints I have done over the past few weeks.  We usually do commission work such as business cards, flyers and posters. These are not those, but independent projects I have worked on during in between times.

1. Wolf.
2. Tower - a print version of a drawing in an old sketch book.
3. Portrait - KL, one of the singers/musicians in my noise band, Tennessee Mudonna.

All prints were done on a Platen press.
